About Us

We work with investors and founders to turn leadership teams into a company's most measurable and scalable asset.

We Built This Because We Kept Seeing the Same Thing Destroy Good Companies

Most businesses that underperform don't have a strategy problem. They don't have a market problem. They have a structural misalignment problem — the gap between what leadership thinks is happening and what's actually happening inside the organization.

Roman and Wojtek met while working on opposite sides of the same problem: one reading the financial damage in the numbers, the other watching it unfold in the rooms where decisions were made. The pattern was always the same. The root cause was almost always organizational.

Heavyweight Strategy was founded to close that gap. We combine rigorous financial diagnostics with deep organizational assessment — simultaneously, in the same engagement. We don't hand off a report and move on. We stay in the room until the EBITDA proves the work is done.

One fat rule: tell the truth, even when it costs us the engagement.

A letter to founders & investors

Building and scaling a business is never just about product or capital. The factor that most consistently determines success — and most consistently destroys value when mismanaged — is people. The leadership teams. The decision-makers. The ones who translate potential into results.

We are not a traditional advisory firm. We do not issue reports and disengage. We work personally alongside investors and founders, analyzing and strengthening leadership teams through rigorous management due diligence and strategic consulting grounded in global organizational health standards. Our approach is precise, practical, and built around the specific dynamics of each engagement — because no two organizations fail in exactly the same way.

Our team brings decades of experience across investment banking, private equity, and organizational design. We apply only the methodologies that have been proven effective in the specific context we are working in. The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: the numbers have to improve. If they don't, the engagement isn't done.

Our mission is clear. We exist to help your leadership teams become your most measurable and scalable asset — so that product creates opportunity, capital enables growth, and people drive success.

Mission & Vision
What drives every engagement.
Mission

To turn leadership teams into a company's most measurable and scalable asset.

We diagnose what is structurally preventing performance. We build the organizational conditions for sustained execution. We stay until the financial results confirm the work is complete.

Vision

To make leadership capability the decisive competitive advantage for every organization we work with.

A world where boards and investors assess human capital with the same rigor they apply to financial capital — and where leadership strength is quantifiable, not assumed.

How we operate
Three rules we don't compromise on.
01

Tell the truth, even when it costs us the engagement. If the real problem isn't solvable in our scope — or if the client isn't ready to act — we say so in week one. Not week eight.

02

No recommendations without evidence. Every finding is backed by data, structured interviews, and observable patterns. We don't diagnose from gut feel or industry frameworks alone.

03

We measure ourselves by outcomes, not outputs. EBITDA improvement and leadership stability — not deliverable count, not billable hours, not slide decks produced.

The Leadership Team
Two founding partners. Complementary lenses. One result.

Co-Founder & Partner

30+ years across finance, fintech, logistics, and people leadership — building cross-functional teams, expanding markets, and growing revenue across Europe and beyond. Equally fluent in the numbers and in the people who move them.

What sets Roman apart is an intuitive read on human nature he has carried since his earliest days leading teams — an ability to see, almost instinctively, what drives a person, where they'll thrive, and where an organization is quietly fragile. Paired with deep commercial and financial judgment, it makes his diagnosis sharp where most stop at the spreadsheet. His conviction: a company's financial problems are usually organizational ones in disguise. That's why he partnered with Wojciech.

Based in Tallinn, Roman is an expert on the Estonian, Latvian, Polish, and Spanish markets, with active mentoring and advisory engagements across Central Europe, the Balkans, Scandinavia, the Iberian Peninsula, and Asia — notably India and Singapore. He works with investors, boards, and founders on market entry, growth, and leadership performance.

Co-Founder & Partner

Wojtek has spent 15+ years in fintech, building and scaling affiliate and business development operations from single-market to multi-region — across 5+ markets simultaneously. He has owned full P&L responsibility, led teams, and driven revenue growth through partner acquisition, strategic negotiations, and hard KPI discipline: ROI, conversion, profitability.

What he brings to Heavyweight Strategy is a ground-level commercial instinct that most organizational advisors simply don't have. He has sat inside the machine — managing partners, building pipelines, making the numbers move. He knows where business development breaks down, where teams lose alignment, and where growth stalls not because of strategy but because of structure.

Wojtek is based in Rzeszów, Poland. He works with founders and investors on commercial scalability, business development architecture, and the organizational root causes of revenue underperformance.

If something is off in your organization, we'll find it.

And we'll tell you exactly what it is — even if it's not what you wanted to hear.
